Drag Hunting is very popular in Europe, and is widely practised alongside hunting of live game in England, France, Italy as well as in the USA and Canada.

There is only one pack of hounds existing presently in the Czech Republic.

The „Žebráky Hounds“, a private pack belonging to Splinther van Everdingen, Žebráky, south of Tachov.
The Asbach Foxhounds Pack from Modautal south of Frankfurt,  www.asbach-foxhounds.de and the
“Schleppjagdverein von Bayern” www.schleppjagd.de have already hunted in the Czech Republic.
